Lee's PTI Princesses Challenge

Had a few ideas in mind and finally settled on the following challenge. Hope you enjoy.

Find a sketch that appeals to you. Use the sketch to complete a scrapbook layout and a card.

Here is my take on my challenge. Hero Arts blog was hosting a "sketch week" this week. This was Monday's sketch. Nice and simple but with many possibilities.

Blog Award

I received this blog award from Brenda O'Reilly. We are forum buddies on Memories Warehouse. Thanks Bee, so glad you keep in touch. I need to name 5 things I would like to do.

1. I would love to be a stay at home mom.

2. I want to run the Comrades Marathon again next year. (have been very lazy this year LOL)

3. Would dearly love to visit my best friend in Canada.

4. My greatest wish is to experience a white Christmas. (Of course if I get to visit my friend in Canada, will have to be in December, then I'll have both my dreams come true!)

5. I really want to have a more positive outlook on life and find JOY in all the little things.

I would like to pass this award onto my blogging buddies:

RSCC #14

We had a public holiday (Women's Day) here in SA today so I managed to get a couple of cards done. This is my second post for today.

Such lovely colours but what a decision trying to put them all together. Decided to use the inspiration from PTI's DT Challenge for August which was called Pattern Pizzaz. That helped to get me going! My card really is so much brighter IRL. Think it's time for a new camera too. LOL.

CPS #128

Haven't played along in a while and needed some inspiration so used this sketch to help the mojo along. This card doubles up for another challenge on CPCM (NTYW 16) where we had to use buttons on our card. This is another image from PTI's Everyday Button Bits.

Papertrey Princesses "Owl" Challenge

This time it was Pam's turn to set the challenge. We had to use owls on our card. I don't own an owl stamp so I printed one out as close in colour to Raspberry Fizz as I could. I used DoodleBats called DB Woodsy from Scrap n Fonts. Tried to use more 'fun' colours as I always tend to go more neutral. I really enjoyed this challenge. Thanks Pam.

Raspberry Suite Challenge #13

Couldn't wait to get my Everyday Button Bits inked up. Absolutely love this stamp set and the bird image is my favourite. Used the Journaling Lines to make the background on the Spring Moss CS.
