PTI June Blog Hop - Box of Blessings

My favourite colour combo at the moment is red, kraft and white. Missed the PTI blog hop last night which was all about colour. The challenge was to use your favourite Papertrey colour combinations!

I love using templates so I used Lauren Meader's Cutesy Cover for the little box. Then I made cards to go in the box. I stamped bible verses on the cards, using Verve's 'Plain Jane' stamps and I stamped the borders using Waltzingmouse stamps. Only a few PTI products used on this project ie. Polka Dot Basics stamps, Bitty Box Basics paper, Pure Poppy ink and the kraft cardstock.

JUGS Colour Challenge

I loved making this card for Father's Day so I just changed the colours and made a girly version. Used the colours for the Jugs Colour Challenge this week. Although I check out the JUGS blog every week, this is the first time I have taken part in one of their challenges.

Happy Father's Day and a PTI Princesses Challenge

I used sketch FTL94 from Clean and Simple Stamping for inspiration for my card.

I just love both sets I used on this card, Enjoy the Ride and A Little Argyle. Used the word, "Father" from the Mixed Messages set and it was a perfect fit for the license plate. I used some diamond glaze on the headlights to give them a shine.

Mariah issued our blog group with the following challenge:
"Show me how you use foam dimensionals (Pop-Dots, 3Ds). It can either be a card or scrapbook page, but make it *Pop*"
...so I popped up the car with pop dots. I use foam dimensionals quite often on my projects.

Waltzingmouse June Blog Waltz

This month's theme is, "Let's hear it for the boys". Had to use a subdued colour scheme and make the most of it as I don't yet have any of Claire's 'image' stamp sets. Have been merrily collecting the Nestie friendly sets. Made this little triangular box and matching card.

One Die - Two Cards

First day of the holidays and I managed to make two cards. It was great to get 'crafty' again. I used the negative and positive sections of the die cut on my cards.
