Embellish Challenge - Decorative Trim

The Embellish challenge this week requires you to create a paper craft project using the colour challenge and decorative trim. I so seldom even use ribbon on my cards, so it was fun to go through my stash and use some of this lace on my card. I also wove some thin green ric-rac ribbon through the lace. The butterfly is the negative of the die cut with the card base showing through.

  4. What a beautiful card! I love the butterfly swirl and your layered scallops! (This colour scheme is sooooo refreshing!)

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving me a comment the other day - I had such a chuckle and nods of agreement about your card reminding you of the old SA flag ... I could relate to your frustrations **so** well - I've had my share of cards that have taken on an identity which they were never meant to have! BAH!! LOL!
